Which is the price per square metre of the second-hand home in the province of Alicante?
The price of the used home in the province of Alicante has increased by 2.8% during the third trimester of 2018, which marks the price of the square metre at 1,368 euros. Taking into account the annual variation, it has risen by 5.9%.

However, focusing the study in the city of Alicante, an increase in the price of 3.5% is seen during the third quarter of 2018; while, considering the annual variation, it has gone up by 10.5%. This implies that the price of the square metre in the capital is 1,408 euros.

With respect to the coastal villages nearby the city of Alicante, such as Arenales del Sol or El Campello, it is observed that these locations have some of the highest prices of the province. In the case of Arenales del Sol, the price per square metre is 1,797 euros; while in El Campello, is 1,765 euros.
Nevertheless, the highest prices are found in the coastal towns of the north of the province, getting Benidorm the first position, with 2,048 euros; followed by Altea, with 1,918 euros; Alfaz del Pi, with 1,892 euros; and Calpe with 1,891 euros.
Despite the increase of the prices and their upward trend, it is important to underline that these are still far below the highest reached in 2007.
